Most of the guidelines for evaluating Internet sources are similar to the guidelines for evaluating print sources. However, because information can appear on the Internet without passing though the formal review procedure that is characteristic of many print sources, you need to apply these guidelines a little differently as you evaluate information you find on the Internet.
