Writing in a Visual Age

Worksheet/
Questions for assessing your growth as a writer

To help with assessment and growth, continually review what you're learning and try to determine what you need to work harder on in the future. Once your instructor has returned the final draft of your work, think back over all the comments you received—from classmates as well as your instructor—and write out answers to the following questions.
  • What appears to be my greatest area of strength?

  • Where am I having the greatest difficulty?

  • What am I learning about the process of writing?

  • What am I learning about giving and receiving feedback on writing?

  • What have I learned from writing a position paper that I can use in my next assignment for this course, for another course, or for work?
