Study
the design of this page in light of the principles described in Part Two of this tutorial. Focus on the following questions:
- Does it use space effectively? Will it download quickly?
The map does not use space effectively because it does not serve a real purpose and it will slow the download considerably.
- Does it have an informative header and footer?
The header contains appropriate information, but there is no
footer. See Section 2C for details.
- Are the navigation tools effective?
Alphabetizing the list of links at the bottom of the page is a good idea, but grouping the links by category might be more effective.
- Will people with vision impairment be able to use it easily?
Yes, textual links will help readers who use text-to-speech software.
