Mike Markel's Web Design Tutorial
SECTION 1: Overview of the Process

This part of the tutorial provides an overview of the process of making a Web site and its pages. Although the process is presented here in chronological order, the act of building and maintaining a Web site is not linear. As with any kind of technical document, you will find yourself backtracking often. For instance, as you are drafting you might realize you need to go back and do more research. As you are revising, you might decide to do more drafting.

Unlike a paper document, a Web site is not printed and distributed to readers. You will periodically add and delete information, and you will often revise information. A Web site is a living document.
