Links Library Bedford/St. Martin's has created several databases of annotated links for a variety of disciplines. These links lead to resources that our authors and editors and readers have found to be useful in their own teaching and research.

Because we know that when you're writing a research paper, you never know which kind of resource might be useful, this page lists all our links libraries from all our disciplines, as well as some useful image databases from our History textbooks.

top links TopLinks is an efficient tool for using the Web to explore issues and topics for your writing and to find out what other people have to say about those issues. Each link includes a critical annotation to help you choose the best Web sources for your search.
 
lit links LitLinks is organized alphabetically by author within 5 literary genres — fiction, poetry, drama, essays, and critical theory. If your research touches on literature or its writers, this collection is for you.
 
history links History Links Library is a database of 350 carefully selected links containing material as diverse as sites on historical archeology, primary documents collections, photograph and illustration galleries, map collections, secondary sources, and audio downloads.
 
doc links DocLinks provides instant, single click access to the building blocks of the past. Document links include: speeches, legislation, U.S. Supreme Court decisions, essays, travelers' accounts, personal narratives and testimony, manifestos, visual artifacts, songs, poems, and much more!
 
map central Map Central offers detailed, high-quality maps from our major history textbooks. These are available for instructors to download and use with classes or for students to use in research and presentations.
