APA Style: Content Notes

APA style allows you to use content notes to expand or supplement your text. Indicate such notes in your text by superscript numerals 1. Type the notes themselves on a separate page after the last page of the text, under the heading Footnotes, which should be centered at the top of the page. Double-space all entries. Indent the first line of each note one-half inch, or five spaces, but begin subsequent lines at the left margin.
