Welcome to the Web site for 40 Short Stories.

This Web site is designed to help you expand your understanding of the fiction in the second edition of 40 Short Stories: A Portable Anthology, edited by Beverly Lawn. LitLinks connects you to sites that are useful in researching the authors whose stories are featured in the book. The VirtuaLit Interactive Fiction Tutorials on three stories in the book guide you step-by-step through the process of critically reading and then writing about each work. Also, LitQuiz tests you on the content of all the stories featured in the anthology, and LitGloss provides you with definitions of relevant literary terms. Click and explore these and the other helpful resources listed below.
